Have you ever wanted to run away and join the circus?

The Great Wars is over, and the Spanish Flu has ended; now’s your chance – the rag-tag crew of the Circus Salmagundi awaits.

About the Series
The Series is set in the landscape of Vancouver Island communities of Esquimalt, Union Bay, Nanaimo and the waters in between following the Great War and the Spanish Flu pandemic, a time of great unpredictability, instability, and grief.

The series protagonist Miss Rose Ivy takes the leap and plunges into the depths of adventure; accused of murder; the mystery continues with stolen artefacts, bitter rivalries, lies and deceit… A collection of diverse, compelling, and highly-flawed cast of characters provide invaluable support to Rose as she navigates the challenges placed before her in each fantastic tale.

When asked about the inspiration behind the series setting Kim responds; “The history of British Columbia in the late-1800s and early-1900s is rocky, gritty, and tumultuous, with people from all over the world thrown together, either searching for opportunity or trying to escape their past (and certainly, some with nefarious reasons). There’s a lot of possibility there for vibrant storytelling.”
