Stolen Bases

Stolen Bases

We invite you to join us in sharing the healing power of storytelling with our featured exhibition, STOLEN BASES.

Through film, oral histories, poetry, letters, photography, artworks and objects from the Cumberland Museum’s collection and archives, Stolen Bases shares local Japanese Canadian stories of building and nurturing home bases and the intergenerational echoes of being treated as an enemy at home.

In the words of Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa, “a story shared plants seeds of healing connection”.

Thank you for your support.
