Winterfaire

The Cumberland Museum & Archives Winterfaire
November 15 & 16

WinterFaire is not just a market; it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the holiday spirit. This annual event is a cherished tradition that brings together artisans, crafters, and the community to celebrate the spirit of the season with handmade goods, homemade food, and vibrant festival music. WinterFaire supports local artisans, fostering community connections, and contributing to the ongoing work of the Cumberland Museum & Archives as its largest annual fundraiser.

WinterFaire takes place over two days, Saturday, November 15 & Sunday, November 16, 2025, transforming three locations in the heart of downtown Cumberland into a bustling holiday market. This event is an excellent opportunity to find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts and is attended by approximately 3000-4000 people over its duration.

We look forward to seeing you at this year’s WinterFaire, keep posted on our Facebook.

Featured Artist

We are so excited to share that this year’s WinterFaire 2025 Featured Artist is the incredible Miss Bumble!

You’ll see her beautiful, whimsical artwork featured throughout our WinterFaire posters, ads, and marketing this year — and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Her creative vision captures the perfect Cumberland Winterfaire vibe we all love — heartfelt, magical, and full of community spirit.

🎨 About Miss Bumble

Miss Bumble is an Illustrator, Painter, Textile & Felting Artist creating on the unceded territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, in the province known as BC, Canada. The artist takes large inspiration from local mycology (study of mushrooms) as well as west coast natural flora and fauna in her illustrations and fibre works.

Creating works that have a deep representation of 2SLBGTQIA+ people, which the artist is a part of, comes from seeing a lack of representation in the small communities they were living in along the West Coast. Her artwork has an air of whimsy but also carries a message of advocacy for underrepresented groups, including bodies of all shapes, orientations, and abilities. Each artwork has a story that people can connect to, and the artist hopes that some people also see themselves represented in their work.

You can find Miss Bumble on the second floor of the Cumberland Cultural Centre during WinterFaire, November 15–16 — come say hi and explore her inspiring, one-of-a-kind work!
